Nutrafit 6

NutraFit 6 is a bacterial type of phytase enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of phytic acid an indigestible , organic form of phosphorus and releases a usable form of inorganic phosphorus. NutrFit 6 originate from Escherichia coli, can break down phytic acid in feed and liberate phosphorus. NutraFit 6 increases the availability of phosphorus absorption and increases the metabolized energy of poultry feed. Phytic acid and its metabolites have been implicated in DNA repair, clathrin-coated vesicular recycling, control of neurotransmission and cell proliferation. This product is very suitable for feed production as pellets due to its thermostability.

Definition of activity:
One unit of phytase activity (F TU) is defined as the amount of enzyme, which liberates 1 micromole of inorganic phosphorus per minute from 5 mmol/L of sodium phytase solution at pH 5.5 and 37 c.
